Biyografi
Önceleri gezerken fotoğraf çeken sanatçı, 35 yıllık kurumsal hayattan emekli olduktan sonra, fotoğraf çekerken gezmeye başladı. Son yıllarda yoğun biçimde drone ile havadan ve farklı açılardan fotoğraf/film çeken Hasan Ürey, 360 derece dairesel panoramalarıyla tanınır ve bilinir bir üsluba sahip oldu. Sabit bir yerden drone’u, 360 derece hareket ettirip, 26 kareyi birleştirerek, Türkiye ve Avrupa’dan bazı ülkelerin serilerini oluşturan sanatçı, mühendislik geçmişinin fotoğrafın büyülü dünyası ile buluştuğu noktada, farklı bir bakış açısı sağlamaya gayret etmekte.
Biography
The artist, who initially took photographs while traveling, began traveling in order to take photographs after retiring from a 35-year corporate career. In recent years, Hasan Ürey has focused extensively on aerial photography and filmmaking using drones, capturing images from different perspectives. He has become recognized for his distinctive style, particularly his 360-degree circular panoramas. By rotating the drone 360 degrees from a fixed point and combining 26 separate frames, the artist has created photographic series featuring Türkiye and several European countries. At the intersection where his engineering background meets the magical world of photography, he strives to present a unique and alternative perspective.

360 derece dairesel panoramalarıyla Edirne ve Trakya’daki tarihi doku ve folklorik ögelere odaklanan Ürey, sabit bir noktada tuttuğu drone’undan edindiği görselleri yazılımla birleştirerek insan gözüne sıradan görünen ve sıkça görüntülemeye maruz kalan aşina konulara sıradışı bir perspektif sağlıyor. Hasan Ürey’in fotoğraflarında Selimiye Camii, Meriç Köprüsü, Pavli Panayır alanının gece görüntüleri ve Kakava Şenlikleri yer almakta.

Focusing on the historical texture and folkloric elements of Edirne and Thrace through his 360-degree circular panoramas, Ürey combines images captured from a drone held at a fixed point using specialized software, offering an extraordinary perspective on subjects that may appear ordinary to the human eye and are frequently encountered in everyday life. Hasan Ürey’s photographs feature the Selimiye Mosque, the Meriç Bridge, nighttime views of the Pavli Fairgrounds, and the Kakava Festivals.
